Yes. The VR goggles included with your purchase are designed to fit every modern Android and Apple smartphone (foldable phones excluded). If you use a very large or bulky phone case, you may need to remove it before use.

What is brainwave entrainment?

Brainwave entrainment is a method of slowing your brainwaves using rhythm, usually through sound. But only about 20% of the brain is wired to the auditory sense, while around 80% is wired to the visual cortex. In in-house studies run by Brain Aligned, 97% of participants showed a slowed heart rate and breathing along with galvanic skin response readings indicating an overall decrease in nervous-system arousal. No participant reported feeling less relaxed after a session.

Will I be asleep or awake while using this?

It mostly depends on the context. If you use it when you're already very tired, you will likely fall asleep. If you are focused and alert, you will likely stay awake. Either way, you should feel more relaxed after the session — and if you do fall asleep, the session still works.

What are signs that it's working?

After about five minutes there is usually a distinct transition from faster waking brainwaves to slower theta brainwaves. People often describe it as a subtle rocking back and forth, a sinking down, or a feeling that the body is becoming generally heavy.

Do I have to use headphones or earbuds?

Yes. You need something that isolates each ear, because the system uses pulses of sound that alternate between left and right. Through a speaker, that effect does not work and your body will not relax as deeply.

Will these sessions work with other VR systems like the Meta Quest 3 or Oculus?

No. The video stream is designed to alternate light between the left eye and the right eye. Other VR systems do not isolate the eyes the same way — they duplicate the image to create the feeling of being in a different environment.
